Camp Explore U

Date: July 16 – July 20, 9am – 3pm
Grades: 3-6 (entering September 2018), co-ed
Cost: $100 and $85 for each subsequent sibling, which includes t-shirt and two daily snacks

lunch is not provided

Each day at Camp Explore U will be filled with exciting and fun activities such as:

  • music
  • drama
  • dance
  • painting
  • capture the flag
  • angry birds
  • dodgeball
  • sports
  • photo scavenger hunt
  • water games
  • slacklining
  • rockets
  • science
  • cooking
  • and much more!

A snap shot of a day at Camp Explore U looks something like this …

9:00-10:00 arrival and beginning activity (tie dye, community event, bee demonstration)
10:00-10:15 snack
10:15-12:00 classic camp activities (scavenger hunts, dodgeball, water events)
12:00-1:00 relaxing activity and lunch
1:00-1:45 – sessions (art, boxing, science, basketball, robotics, dance, and baking are options)
1:45-2:00 snack
2:00-2:45 – complete session
2:30-3:00 – clean up and gym time

Rockets and Robotics

Rockets & Robotics is a hands on science camp for students who are passionate about building and programming robots and learning the physics behind rocket design and launch.

Each day, camp will bring new challenges as students develop and morph their EV3 Lego Robots. Working solo or in teams, students compete in fun real-world challenges such as:

  • robo-soccer
  • obstacle courses
  • drag races
  • battle bots
  • rocket and engine design
  • fin design with SpaceCAD
  • rocket painting
  • and much more!
