Due to international students’ diverse needs and requirements, tuition and fees are handled separately from Canadian students. All Chinese students should contact our representative office in China concerning application procedures and tuition. Please email Maple Kwan at email@example.com for further details.
Helping young people reach their full potential spiritually and academically so they’re empowered to make a difference.
UMEI began as a Bible school in the winter of 1944 – 45. The program soon expanded to include grade nine and ten courses and after it was incorporated in 1946, UMEI offered a complete high school education.
UMEI Christian High School proudly offers education in Grades 9-12. Our high school students are provided with Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum and earn the Ontario Secondary Schools Diploma (OSSD).
“It takes passionate teachers to lead to passionate students. At UMEI, teachers work with the students to not only encourage learning, but also help them discover how to learn.”
— Tess Huy (2011)
LETTER FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
I’m of the firm belief that you want more from your academic experience than simply deep and intensive classroom instruction.
So at UMEI Christian High School we take the idea of a young person’s “academic development” a step further.
I lead a dynamic and passionate staff that will help you cultivate your full academic, spiritual, and individual potential.
It’s our deeper focus on “whole-person” education and growth, anchored in the Anabaptist tradition, which gives you the opportunity to become a “doer of the word” in your community.
Plus I’m passionate about getting to know each of my students both inside and outside of the classroom.
This comprehensive approach builds an atmosphere that creates a tight-knit community, nurtures faith, and fosters long-term friendships.
I would like to extend you an invitation to be part of the next generation of young men and women who will go out into your communities to share the faith, talents, and skills nurtured here at UMEI Christian High.
So please consider joining us, won’t you?
